Lets Make: An Affogato
An affogato (or affogato al caffe) is the Italian word for "drowned" - more specifically, it's creamy, ice-cold gelato drowned in a shot of hot espresso. The contrast of hot-cold and sweet-bitter make this one moreish dessert.
Here's how we make it (recipe below):
You'll need:
- One scoop of Vanilla Bean Dream gelato
- One shot of your favourite espresso
How to:
- Scoop the gelato, and pour the espresso over
- Dig in, buon appetito!
